Publication
Articles that successfully complete the peer-review process and are accepted for publication will appear in a highly ranked edited volume published by Jagiellonian University as part of the KNOWLEDGE – COMMUNICATION – ACTION series. Manuscripts intended for publication in the volume must be prepared in English.
We also invite submissions to the journals Zeszyty Prasoznawcze (Media Research Issues) and Com.press.
The deadline for article submissions is 30 November 2026.
Editorial Guidelines
Content
The submitted manuscript must include the following elements:
- the author’s/authors’ full name(s) and institutional affiliation(s);
- the title of the article in Polish;
- an abstract in both Polish and English, together with an English translation of the article title;
- keywords in both Polish and English;
- a brief biographical note about the author(s).
Length
The manuscript must not exceed 40,000 characters including spaces. This limit includes the main text, bibliography, abstract, and author biographical note.
Text Format
- text file in *.rtf or *.doc format (Microsoft Word 97 or later);
- 12-point Times New Roman font;
- 1.5 line spacing.
Additional Information
Submission of an article to the editorial board constitutes consent to its publication both in traditional printed form and online. However, the article will only be published after it has received positive peer reviews and the authors have signed the relevant declaration.
The editors reserve the right to make necessary abridgements and editorial amendments.

Tables, Charts and Figures
- tables, charts, and figures should be numbered separately;
- each table, chart, and figure should have a title;
- figures intended for publication must be of high quality, consistent in format, and accompanied by appropriate captions or descriptions;
- each graphic element should be submitted as a separate file bearing an appropriate filename; all files should be collected in a single folder, and a printout or preview should also be included in the main text or on a separate page;
- photographs should be submitted as *.tif or *.jpg files with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi at the required reproduction size;
- charts should be prepared in Microsoft Excel;
- figures should be submitted as vector files in *.cdr or *.ai format, or as high-contrast, high-quality raster files in *.tif, *.png, or *.jpg format.
